The first of Mike’s books with his new publisher Luath Press of Edinburgh with a front cover designed by Mike based on an Illustrated Classic edition of H.G. Wells’ War Of The Worlds.

With poems that range in mood from the contemplative like Setting Free The Birds (about children growing and leaving home) to just downright good and mad and angry, The Colossi Do A Runner (about how the 1% have feathered their own nests while leaving the rest of us bare-arsed on the branch with the wind whistling Dixie.
